Entry 5

Search Warrant 

The days passed and passed and my conscience didn't give me calmness. That secret was coming me completely. I was lying in my bed when the doorbell rang. As soon as I heard it, my nervousness began to increase considerably to the point that my legs trembled so much that it was hard for e walking. But after some minutes I got it,  and my biggest fear came true it was the police who were there. I tried to act as usual as possible, but I was too anxious. Since I had something hidden in my house, they could find out, and it meant that I was going to be in a big trouble. So I filled in myself with courage and opened the door. The police brought a search warrant with them, but unexpectly they asked me in a good way if they could requisition my house, and I couldn't do anything else that accept. Quickly, they began to thoroughly review everything. Even though I was afraid, I accompanied them.  But at the moment they stopped in front of my room my heart got paralyzed, since they we're meters to discover my darkest secret. Suddenly, they were four and decided to separate the group in two. While two people were going to the first room which was mine, the others were going to the last one. But when the police came into my room I Felt an empty in my stomach, and a lump in my throat which warned me that I would burst into tears. I decided to confess that I had buried a corpse under the floor of my bed. So I told them that just under the carpet there were treading on, there was a secret door where the body was. I confessed because I thought that if I confessed the crime at that moment, I was going to get a more reasonable punishment. But it was just a foolish illusion.
